That Fall kinda mood...

Macintosh apples weren't in season so I had to settle for these. O well, they were light and crispy and tasted wonderful in my apple crisp!

Brought along my furry little friend.
Nothing like some homemade pickled beets and Corn Relish. Not my personal preference but love the homemade jellies and jams!

I love bringing home Indian corn for decorations! Makes me feel like fall is everywhere! I put these on my door, fence, walls, and backyard.

Eatin' Fresh...

I absolutely love to discover and find new yummy delightful dishes! I know how hard it is to find recipes and dinners that have normal inexpensive ingredients and so when I come across some I try to share them. All of these here take hardly any time to prepare and are wonderful for weeknights! I know when I get home from work I'm not going to labor 2 hours over the stove! If anyone wants the recipe for any of these just let me know!
Beef & Orange Stir-Fry - with extra orange zest & soy sauce to put it over the top!
My husband loved this healthy piece - Southwestern wrap with avocados, black beans, romaine, cooked onions, sour cream, grilled chicken,  & sun-dried tomatoes.
My all time favorite classic - Greek salad with extra Feta & Kalamata Olives! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!
Step 1: Peelin and choppin.
Step 2: Coating the chunks with brown goodness and cinnamon.
Step 3: Crispy and crumbly!
Mini Pita Ricotta Spinach & mozza pizzas

The Eye of the camera...

Some of my Photography. The art of Nature and human emotion. I love the photo-journalism style that captures true moments in time.

Deary House.

Thought I would share a little of my house with you guys! Throughout time I have gathered and crafted many things together to make my "home." Such as, these paintings that I painted (they're the newest addition!) Below is the inspiration for one of them.

Here's the shade that I bought separatly from the base. Palak lampshade from Anthropologie. Retail $78, but I got it on SALE $36!!! For ever my light was shadeless until I found this one which matched perfectly!

The $100 piece of canvas that I did for $0!

All my life I have dreamt of a yellow bathroom! Something cheery and stunning! I've always adored the way it looks sunny and happy even when it's gloomy outside.
I looooove my towel holder which I found @ Urban Outfitters for $12.00. I bought two of them, one white branch for my towels, & one gold branch to use as my key holder for the front door! It was genius!

I remember seeing door knob coat hangers for the first time at Anthropologie but was kind of reluctant to shell out the cash. But when I saw these for $5 @ Hobby Lobby I was ecstatic!

Since the past weeks I have replaced my tear drop lamp with my new prize: Faux chandelier from Urban Outfitters-$10.00. Yea I said ten dollars. The only thing I don't care about it is the fact that there is a bare bulb staring at you which makes harsh light. So my ingenious idea at the moment is looking for a mini light globe to put around it!

Lastly, I have to share my AMAZING drapes and ties! I found these Toile style drapes @ Goodwill for $4 a piece! Then cut some of my leftover hemp yarn and doubled it up! Perfecto for a stylish shabby chic look!

Moss Terrarium!!

These were so interesting I had to look twice. Made by Mavis is the name and run $55! The great thing about it is it's great for those who have little time to take care of living things. Just water every 2-3 weeks and leave in direct sunlight! Easy enough.
